Plant Based Nitrogen Fertilizer
$16.00 – $96.00
If you’ve been looking for a veganic source of nitrogen as an alternative to animal-derived fertilizers, I’ve got an exciting new product for you.
Introducing Amino-N, a 100% plant-based liquid concentrate of 20 different amino acids plus peptides, with 5% organic water-soluble nitrogen content.
Made in Canada from organically grown, non-GMO soybeans, Amino-N acts both as a nutrient source and a biostimulant. It boosts plant metabolism and supports vegetative growth by enhancing cell division and elongation. In addition, it increases uptake and transport of nutrients within the plant. Amino-N also helps plants resist stress, and even works to improve soil structure.
Highly concentrated and effective at very low doses, Amino-N is suitable for all plants and all cultivation methods and is especially effective as a foliar spray due to its ability to enter plant leaves quickly. It can be combined with other liquid fertilizers such as kelp and sea minerals and also with EM.
The amber coloured, neutral smelling, slightly sticky liquid is very easy to apply by simply mixing with enough water to cover the area. It will foam a bit, but will not clog spray nozzles or irrigation lines, and can also be used in hydroponic systems.
Amino-N is OMRI listed, ProCert approved, and USDA Certified Organic. Besides being non-GMO, it contains no synthetic or animal-sourced ingredients.

Amino-N Application
How much do you need? At an application rate of only 30mL (2 tablespoons) per 1,000 square feet, Amino-N is second only to Kelpgrow in concentration and efficiency. On a larger scale, use 1 to 1.25L of Amino-N per acre. (That’s much, much less than the rate for liquid fish.)
This rate is the same for foliar and soil application. Although there is no specific dilution rate, generally I recommend mixing 30 mL (2 tbsp) in 1L of water to spray a 1,000 sq ft area (around 40L of water for 1-1.25L of product per acre). You can use more or less water if that’s practical for you. Spray leaves both on top and underneath until dripping wet.
Mix and use only what you want to apply the same day. Diluted mixed product does not keep long.
Apply Amino-N monthly, beginning when plants have their first set of four to five permanent leaves, and then during vegetative growth, pre-flowering, past the petal falling phase, and during fruit development, for a total of about five applications during the growing season.
How long does it keep? Amino-N is good for at least one year if kept out of direct sunlight, with the cap on tight, and stored at cool room temperature. Should the bottle become bloated, open the cap briefly release any gas.
